Shivaji College has been selected for financial grant under the prestigious Star College Scheme, an initiative of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India. This is a programme initiated by the DBT to support selected colleges/ university departments to improve critical thinking and hands-on experimental work in modern scientific studies. It will help further boost the scientific temperament of students, and enable them to think out of the box, for creating solutions to various problems of the world today.
