Rajyabhishek Mahotsav: Celebrating Shivraj 350 on June 06, 2024
Shivaji College celebrated Rajyabhishek Mahotsav on June 6, 2024, marking the 350 th anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's coronation and Hindavi Samrajya Sthapana. The event was graced by Dr. Kinny Singh, District Magistrate, West Delhi, as Chief Guest, and Shri Laxmi Narayan Bhala, Member, Kendriya Seva Vibhag, RSS, as Guest of Honour. Highlights included the release of the college magazine SHIVRAJ and the prestigious Shivraj Bhushan Award, honoring staff with over 25 years of dedicated service. The celebration, completing a year-long commemoration of Shivraj 350, reflected the legacy of Shivaji Maharaj’s historic ascent to the throne.

Students’ activities organized by Department of Chemistry on April 10, 2024 on the life and legacy of Shivaji Maharaj. The rangoli competition, themed "Contribution of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to Science and Technology," saw impressive display of artistry. Similarly, the slogan writing competition focused on the "Timeline of Chhatrapati Shivaji," while the poster making event centered on "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj - Founder of Hindavi Swaraj."

Special Lecture on FROM SHIVAJI TO SWARAJ: VISION 2047 was held on 4th of April 2024 organized by Department of Political Science. The chief guest and the speaker for the day was Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma from Choudhary Charan Singh University (Meerut, UP).

Shivaji College celebrated the 350 th anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's coronation on February 19, 2024. Chief guest for the occasion was the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh, Guest of Honour was Sh. Vinod S. Tawde, Former Education Minister of Maharashtra. On this occasion, Prof. Yogesh Singh introduced and granted the Jijabai Block to the existing college campus for its expansion. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor also renamed the college library as "Bhushan Granthalaya". A special section in the library honouring Shivaji Maharaj's memory and legacy was also inaugurated. A book entitled ‘Deccan to Delhi: A Journey of Shivaji and Shivaji College Ideas, Inspirations, Institutions faculty and students’ edited by Prof. Virender Bhardwaj, Principal, Shivaji College was also released to commemorate the occasion.

On January 30, 2024, the Department of Economics of Shivaji College organised the event "Celebrating the 350 th Anniversary of Coronation of Shivaji Maharaj," to honour the remarkable historical figure that Shivaji Maharaj was, delve into the richness of our past and celebrate the enduring legacy of his reign. The 350 th coronation ceremony holds a unique significance, marking a milestone in the history of Maharashtra and a pivotal moment in the life of a leader whose vision shaped the course of our nation. The event was marked by two student centric academic events: Forts and Glory of the Great Shivaji Maharaj (Academic Quiz) and The Legacy of Shivaji Maharaj (Debate Competition).
