Vayam, the theatre society of Shivaji College, organised a two-day Stage Theatre Festival: RANGPRASANG on 3-4 April, 2025. The event was inaugurated by Shri Kamakhya Prasad Tasa (MP, Kaziranga, Assam), renowned Theatre and Film Actor Sh. Kumud Mishra also graced the event. His theatre group D for Drama performed the famous Play "Patna ka Superhero".

The 2nd International Conference on "Advanced Materials for Green Chemistry and Sustainable Environment" (AMGSE 2025) was jointly organised by Shivaji College, University of Delhi, and K.R. Mangalam University on March 20–21, 2025.
The college also organised a one-week National Level FDP on MOODLE LMS with Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay, from March 18-24, 2025.
The Shaikshik Foundation International Conference 2025, was conducted by Shivaji College along with ABRSM on the topic of “Indigenous Knowledge System and Sustainable Development” on March 9-10.

The Shivaji Jayanti celebration on 19th February 2025, organized in collaboration with the Women's Development Cell (WDC), that saw the release of its annual publication, Motherhood Unbound. The key highlight of the event was the presentation of the Jijabai Awards, recognizing the outstanding contributions of women across various fields.
Shivaji College, in collaboration with MH-MMTTC, organised an online NEP Orientation Programme from September 18-28, 2024, recognised under the UGC Career Advancement Scheme.
Shivaji College's Add-on and Value-added Courses Committee enriched students' education through interdisciplinary courses in 2024-25. Offerings included Eco-Friendly Practices, Sustainable Development, Chemistry Applications, Google Workspace, Poultry Farming, Botany Conservation, Logical Reasoning, Electoral Studies, Data Analysis (Excel and Python), LaTeX, Financial Literacy, Digital Forensics, and language certifications (French and German). To foster the professional and overall development of students, the college launched the Principal Internship Scheme inspired by the Vice Chancellor’s Internship Scheme at the University level in 2024. The scheme received an overwhelming response and will now be an annual initiative. In its first year, 43 students benefited from the program: 15 were selected through a rigorous process for summer internships, offering a stipend of Rs. 6,000 for 120 hours of work, while 28 students were offered year-long internships as department and office interns, requiring 200 hours of work for a stipend of Rs. 12,000.
The Shivraj 350 initiative marked the grand celebration of the 350th anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's coronation. Departments and committees across the college contributed with enthusiasm, transforming this initiative into a comprehensive homage to Shivaji Maharaj. The celebration highlighted every aspect of his life, from administration and governance to his principles, wisdom, and policies, throughout the semesters.
Held from October 28-30, 2023, the Shivaji Bhonsle Hindi Parliamentary Debate launched a prestigious rolling trophy. Prof. Shri Prakash Singh, Director, South Campus, and Sh. Uday Mahurkar, Central Information Commissioner, graced the inaugural and valedictory functions, respectively.
Shivaji College celebrated the 350th anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's coronation on February 19, 2024. Chief guest for the occasion was the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh, Guest of Honour was Sh. Vinod S. Tawde, Former Education Minister of Maharashtra. On this occasion, Prof. Yogesh Singh introduced and granted the Jijabai Block to the existing college campus for its expansion. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor also renamed the college library as "Bhushan Granthalaya". A special section in the library honouring Shivaji Maharaj's memory and legacy was also inaugurated. A book entitled ‘Deccan to Delhi: A Journey of Shivaji and Shivaji College Ideas, Inspirations, Institutions faculty and students’ edited by Prof. Virender Bhardwaj, Principal, Shivaji College was also released to commemorate the occasion.
In collaboration with the Shaikshik Foundation and the National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL), the college organized a two-day International Conference on 'Resurgent Bharat on Global Canvas' from February 25-26, 2024, at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre. Esteemed guests, including Shri Bhupendra Yadav, Hon’ble Union Minister, Prof. Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi, and Prof. J P Singhal, National President of ABRSM, graced the occasion. With approximately 1000 registrations, the conference witnessed vibrant discussions on Bharat’s resurgence in areas such as economic growth, social development, infrastructure, and cultural influence, reflecting a collective vision of advancing Bharat's global stature.
The annual cultural festival ‘Vibrations 2024’ on March 7-8, 2024, was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Soma Ghosh, Hindustani Classical Vocalist from Banaras Gharana, the festival was a grand success. Students excelled in various categories like dance, debate, and dramatics, showcasing their talent and creativity.

The event also honored long-serving staff with the Shivraj Bhushan Award, instituted this year, concluding a year-long Shivraj 350 commemoration.
