The College has an active and dedicated Fee Concession Committee working towards facilitating grants for students in need. The Committee meets regularly to discuss such cases and evaluates granting of concessions to students. The concession can range anywhere between 10%-60% of the total college fees, depending upon the collective merit of the student and his/her case. Any student enrolled in any course of the college can apply for it. Notices (both online and offline) are circulated in the beginning of the academic session to invite applications from the students. All Teacher- in- charges are informed timely about the initiation of the process and they inform the students of their respective courses.
The Committee decides the percentage of concession to each student, after conducting a thorough interview with all the candidates who file an application for the same. The economic status of the student’s family, academic performance, and overall conduct in college are some of the parameters for awarding concessions to the students. The continuance of the concession is further dependent on factors such as satisfactory academic performance, regular attendance, and disciplined behavior towards teachers and peers. Self-finance courses like BBE do not fall under the prerogative of the Fee Concession Committee.
