The Geography Society Shivalik annually organises seminars, and a variety of events such as Quiz, Pictionary and other subject-related learning activities. The society brings out an Annual Magazine and organises the departmental fest as well as an educational excursion every year.

The Department of Geography organised two workshops on civil service preparation and career orientation on September 4, 2019. The first workshop was by Times Group and the second was by Khan Study Group (KSG). An audience of approximately 150 under-graduate students and faculty members from Geography, Environmental Studies and various departments participated in the workshop.
