Jijabai Achiever’s Award

Shivaji College instituted Jijabai Achievers’ Awards in 2010 to felicitate individual who have contributed either directly in changing lives of women, or contributed indirectly by being the change themselves and becoming inspiration to others.  As one of the baby steps taken by Shivaji College in contributing towards women development and empowerment, the Women’s Development Cell, started identifying individual who have done pioneering roles in redefining traditional contours.

It aims to acknowledge persons who have contributed immensely in the field of education, social work, administration, sports, health, culture etc.
